Urban Play

Urban Play uma exposição de design/arte na cidade que aconteceu em Amesterdão, organizado pela Experimentadesign em parceria com a Droog Design. Para esta exposição urbana foram convidados arquitectos, designers e artistas para intervirem em espaços públicos.

Urban Play is a art/design exhibition in the city of Amsterdam, organized by Experimentadesign in collaboration with Droog Design. For this urban exhibition architects, designers and artists were invited to create interventions in public spaces.

Stefan Sagmeister desenhou uma frase ornamentada com 300.000 moedas de um cêntimo com a frase " Obsessões tornam a minha vida pior e o meu trabalho melhor". A nível urbano e de espaço público esta instalação pode levar aos transeuntes o dilema de manter a beleza da instalação ou de levar as moedas com eles e desconstruir a instalação.
Stefan Sagmeister has creates an ornamented phrase with 300.000 one cent coins, the phrase was: “Obsessions make my life worse and my work better”. In the urban and public space level this instalation created a dilema with passers-by, should they maintain the beauty of the piece or take the coins and desconstruct the installation.



Moving Forest foi outra intervenção deste evento. Realizada pelo grupo de arquitectos NL architects, e consiste em plantar àrvores em carrinhos de supermercado, tornando-se em bosques portáteis.
Moving Forest was another installation of this event. Created by the architecte group NL architects, and consists on planting trees in supermarket trolleys, becoming portable forests.
