Submersed Songs

Submersed Songs (Canções Submersas) é uma instalação sonora criada pela artista brasileira Vivian Caccuri onde o movimento de 4 peixes geram misturas de músicas mp3 em tempo real. O movimento dos animais a proximidade entre estes e cada um separadamente servem de parâmetros para misturar e espacializar a música do visitante em tempo real.

O visitante pode ligar o seu aparelho áudio ao interface, e escolher uma música da sua preferência. É também possível para o utilizador gravar a trilha no sistema para ser utilizada e modificada na próxima interacção de outro visitante, misturando-se assim duas músicas de tempos diferentes.
A artista fala do seu projecto:"Com esta ideia novas paisagens são criadas, não só da interacção com os peixes, mas também por desvendar arquivos musicais íntimos que estão "submersos" nos aparelhos de mp3."


Submersed Songs created by the brazilian artist Vivian Caccuri is a sound installation that generates mp3 player remixes through the movements of four live fish. The animals’ movements and the proximity among them work as a parameter for mixing and spatializing the audience’s music tracks in real time.

The visitor can connect his audio device to the interface, and chose a song of his preference. It is also possible for the user to record the track in the system in order to let the song be modified during the next visitor's interactions, meshing up two different songs within different times.
