Secret wall tattoos são desenhos ou pinturas escondidos atrás de espelhos, quadros, fotografias emolduradas, camas etc, criando já uma espécie de movimento de uma expressão artística subversiva em hotéis, prédios comerciais, museus e afins.
O movimento começou-se espalhar há cerca de 5 anos, como passatempo do músico Josh Homme, frontman da banda de rock Queens of the Stone Age. Onde passou a aproveitar parte do tempo gasto em quartos de hotel fazendo os primeiros desenhos. Em poucos meses o que era brincadeira transformou-se em obsessão e a partir de então dezenas de novas peças começaram a aparecer nos EUA e Europa, pelas suas mãos e de alguns amigos que abraçaram a causa tais como Banksy, a banda DEVO, o fotógrafo Ryan Russel, etc.Com o tempo, as muitas intervenções começaram a ser descobertas por hóspedes (com obssessão por simetria) ao tentarem endireitar quadros e espelhos.

In a few months the hobby became an obssession and from then on dozens of new pieces started to appear in USA and in Europe, by other people who embrace the "cause" such as Banksy, the band DEVO, the photographer Ryan Russel, etc. Along time these interventions were being discovered by hotel guest , mainly because of simetry obssession while trying to straighten up some mirrors and paintings.
