KK Projects

KKProjects é um projecto situado no bairro de St. Roch em Nova Orleães que intervem em 6 estruturas abandonadas e destruídas pelo Katrina: uma antiga padaria, uma loja e quatro casas de 1800's. Cada estrutura alberga uma instalação site-specific por três meses. Artistas nacionais e internacionais são convidados para intervir com os espaços à medida que os encontram, bem como com o ambiente fisíco e cultural à sua volta.

KKProjects is based in the St. Roch neighborhood of New Orleans in six previously abandoned an destryoed structures: a former bakery, a storefront, and four 1800s houses. Each structure houses a site-specific installation for a three month exhibition period. Local and international artists are invited to work with the spaces as they find them, as well as with the surrounding physical and cultural environment.
