Tabu América Latina é uma série da National Geographic que explora que é estranho e às vezes desconcertantes práticas de diferentes culturas. Para divulgar a série, foi invocado um tema que para muitos ainda é um tabu: as modificações corporais, entre elas, a prática conhecida como suspensão (em que a pessoa é suspensa por piercings). Um artista foi suspenso a 50 metros durante 3 horas na mais movimentada avenida de São Paulo. A cada 50 twitts com a tag criada para a acção, o artista era elevado mais alguns metros.
Taboo Latin America is a National Geographic tv show that explores what is strange and sometimes confusing in the practices of different cultures. To publicize the series, they appealed to an issue that, for many, is still a taboo: the
body modifications, including the practice known as suspension (in which the person is suspended by piercings). An artist was suspended at 50 meters for three hours in the busiest avenue in Sao Paulo. Every 50 twits with the tag created for the stunt, the artist was elevated some more meters.
