Sterlings Gold

Advertising pioneer and visionary Roger Sterling, Jr., served with distinction in the Navy during World War II, and joined Sterling Cooper Advertising as a junior account executive in 1947. He worked his way up to managing partner before leaving to found his own agency, Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce, in 1963. Some of his phrases made history and became advertising jargons like "This is the best job in the world, if it wasn't for the clients". Now you can get to know him better in this biography that can be bought on Amazon. But beware of one detail: Roger Sterling does not exist. He is just a character of acclaimed TV Show Mad Men. That's what some of our ad friends would call Transmedia Storytelling.
