Saia do armário / Get out of the closet
A expressão "sair do armário" foi bem ilustrada nesta campanha. Um armário fechado a correntes e cadeados com um sinal em que se podia ler:"Festival de Cinema Gay e Lésbico. Abre brevemente". Outra dimensão foi dada ao colocar sons de pessoas a bater à porta e a gritar, criando a ilusão que pessoas estavam presas lá dentro e estavam ansiosas para sair do armário. O armário esteve no foyer do cinema durante duas semanas antecedentes ao festival.
The phrase “coming out of the closet.”was well illustrated in this campaign.A chained up closet with a sign that you could read, “Gay and Lesbian Film Festival. Opening Soon.” Another dimension was added to the idea by looping a knocking and screaming sound playing it from within the closet.
This created the illusion that actual people were trapped within, and were dying to come out.The closet was in the foyer of the cinema complex for two weeks prior to the opening of the festival.
