Stephen Powers, um artista plástico da Filadélfia, decidiu que iria pintar os muros da sua cidade com frases de amor. Pra isso, criou um site, www.aloveletterforyou.com e pediu que as pessoas mandassem frases para que ele escolhesse 50 e então pintasse os muros. 40 voluntários foram chamados para pintar os muros, entre artistas e grafiteiros do mundo todo e moradores da cidade, que aprenderam a técnica em workshops ministrados por ele. Depois, escolheu para pintar, os muros que estão na rota de uma antiga linha de trem que passa pela cidade. O procjeto vai ainda virar um documentário e um livro.
Stephen Powers, an artist from Philadelphia, decided to paint the walls of the city with loving words. To do so, he created a site, www.aloveletterforyou.com and asked people to send phrases. Fifty of those phrases were painted by 40 volunteers, between artists and city dwellers, who learned the technique in workshops taught by him. Then, he chose to paint the walls that were in the route of an old railway line that passes through the city. The procjeto will also become a documentary and a book.
